The capital of the United Arab Emirates has always impressed by the presence of a great variety of attractions for tourists. In February 2013, it again surprised its residents and tourists with the opening of the new attraction – a flower park Miracle Garden. Initially, the project was not to attract tourists, but to demonstrate how it is necessary to make reasonable use of all water resources given by nature. The special attention is given to this issue in such an arid country. Leading engineers from Europe and the United States worked on the creation of the garden, which has become an oasis on the sandy lands. The company Akar, which could implement the best landscape design ideas, was at the head of the entire development. The special underground irrigation system, which allows to supplies the roots of each flower with required life-giving moisture, is used for watering plants. This method helps to prevent excess loss of water in the soil and to conserve energy. The territory of the Dubai Miracle Garden is 6.7 hectares, where there are more than 45 million different flowers collected from all over the world, and their number increases constantly. Interesting landscape, bright palette of colors and tender fragrances attracted the attention of tourists, who have spread news about a new wonder of the world in Dubai all over the planet. Petunia became the symbol of the flower diversity in the Park. The number of species, the bizarre shapes and colors of this plant can impress even the most demanding gardener. The refinement of the whole collection is a rare sort of Petunia called "Black velvet". The name of the flower derives from the velvety petals of black color, which look very unusual among its congeners in flowerbeds. The overall composition is complemented by geranium, calendula, marigolds and other beautiful plants.
