Majorelle Garden Tourist Attraction

Majorelle Garden

Native: Jardin Majorelle

The Majorelle Garden is one of the popular tourist attractions in Marrakesh. Its creator is Jacques Majorelle who was French painter. He needed forty years to design and to substantiate his conception. Thanks to him now we can see the Majorelle Garden which is the wonderful part of the “Ochre City”. Here you can find a big among of exotic trees and plants. Streams are burling and there are lotus flowers in the pools. You will breathe here only fresh air and will hear only the chant of birds. We are strolling through the garden and see the building which is painted in the bright colors. It is just a paradise! But we could not visit this place of interest now if it was not Yves Saint Laurent who found this place neglected. He made the Majorelle Garden the famous sight of Marrakesh. He lived in Marrakesh with his friend in 1964. They bought the Majorelle Gaarden. Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé wanted to show people the beauty of the electric-blue villa and its wonderful garden. You can have a rest from the noisy city. Don’t miss the opportunity to see 300 plant species from various continents! This place is always open for every tourist in Marrakesh!
