It is all because it has a pavillon which has small green roof as a pyramid. This nice pavilion was built in the 16th century. And was the time of governing of such famous dynasty as Saadi. Then in some time the Menare gardens need to be reconstructed. And it was made by sultan Abderrahmane in 1869. He liked this place very much and it was his residence for each summer. Just imagine that now orchards and olive groves grew all round the pavilion and lake. It is amazing beauty which you couldn’t pass by! The basin serves for irrigation of big gardens.
