The ski resort La Parva is known for the fact that its slopes offer a magnificent panoramic view of the Chilean capital Santiago. This is not surprising, because the famous resort is 4 km to the East from the outskirts of the city, on the slopes with the vertical drop from 2650 to 3630 meters above sea level. The infrastructure of the ski resort is superbly designed, which allows tourists from all over the world relax and enjoy the magnificent slopes.
The ski resort La Parva has 30 pistes covering an area of 40 hectares. The maximum vertical drop is 980 meters. The resort has 14 lifts, 4 of which are chairlifts. Almost half of the slopes (45%) are of medium (blue) complexity, green pistes (for beginners) are only 10% of the total. The ski trails for advanced skiers (red slopes) are 30% of the slopes, and pistes for professionals (black slopes) are 15%.
The high season lasts here from mid-June to mid-September, low season is the rest of the time.
The ski school La Parva employs 50 professional instructors. They successfully transmit their skills not only to adults but also to children. There are group and individual classes. The school provides support services: an experienced instructor will be on the slopes to accompany the group (maximum eight people).
Snowboarding, snow motorcycle, sled and sleigh are very popular in the resort La Parva. The resort also has a pool. Here you can also walk in the area or go to one of the neighboring resorts. In addition, La Parva is famous for its numerous night clubs and discos, good restaurants and outstanding bars.
