The Parque Aquas de Ramon with its hiking trials of varying difficulty belongs to numerous parks of Chile. Only in the vicinity of Santiago, you can find a dozen of them. They are about two hundred meters above the level of the rest of Santiago. Therefore, the view from such parks is excellent, just for those ones who like fresh air, streams, nature and absence of people.
There is a "map" of the Park and trails for the trekkers at the entrance. Most trails are fairly narrow, there is a hill on one side, and there are cliffs or trees on the other. There are places for rest with tables and benches on the trails, some tourists prefer even to sleep there. Signs are placed everywhere, so, it is hard to get lost. Some of the signs are prohibiting passage ones, but there are no gates or guards, and in general, people are very few here.
The Park has a small factory for water purification. However, there is no store, where you can buy this water just at the same place. Someone raises bees there.
There is no full forest in the Park, but there are many trees, shrubs and large cacti. Picturesque streams are also in abundance here. In general, the scenery is very beautiful and charming
