About 13 000 of sea inhabitants (it is about 700 species) dwell in the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium, which is situated in the center of Darling Harbour. Its aquariums are divided into 12 thematic areas, where you can see the inhabitants of the Great Barrier reef, dugongs, penguins, spider crabs, rays and fish-saw. There is a touch panel with a description of a marine animal, its habitat and other information, which is mounted next to each aquarium. There are also cardboard figures of cute sharks throughout the aquarium, which keep the plates with interesting facts about themselves. You can watch sharks from the underwater tunnel. It is a narrow tunnel, where sharks, huge stingrays and fish swim to the right, to the left and over the head of visitors. It is breathtaking! There is also a small tunnel with a glass floor, where several white sharks and sawfish float right under your feet. There are also interactive activities: ride on a boat with transparent bottom, pools, where you can touch starfish, crabs and mollusks. It is not only allowed to move or pick them up. There is a school of aquarists, snorkeling with sharks and excursions "behind the scenes". You can celebrate your birthday in the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium. The aquarium has a café and a gift shop. You can buy tickets on the official site of the Sea Life Sydney online.
