One of the main attractions of Ubud is the Monkey Forest. Monkey forest is a great place for walking in the daytime, when it is hot, but here, due to the ancient branchy trees, you can escape from the heat. You can just sit under a banyan tree. There are many sculptures and other decorations here.
Pura Bukit temple is located on the territory of Ubud Monkey Forest. Due to its old age and dampness, its walls are covered with moss, the trees come right up to the very walls and buildings, but it is still the venue of ceremonies.
Monkeys feel here full owners. There are thousands of breathtaking views and scenes in this forest. Monkeys are happy to pose, you can feed them with bananas and nuts purchased from employees. However, be careful and attentive. Take off in advance valuables, glasses, hats and other attractive for monkey items! Maybe, you won`t exchange all of them for a treat.
Remember, monkeys remain wild animals and can easily bite you. If it happens, contact the park staff, tell them to take you to the infirmary of the park. There your wound will be cleaned; and you will get medications. You can also contact your insurance company: such cases are paid.
